GENEVA -- Two Chinese ph紅術armaceutical compa拿也nies will provide 110 million doses o個的f COVID-19 vaccines immediately to現討 participants of the COVAX project, ann下跳ounced the global Vaccine Alliance Gav木對i on Monday.

The Chinese Sinopharm and通些 Sinovac vaccines have 視相been approved earlier this year b就光y the World Health Organization (W報船HO) for emergency use.

Gavi announced in 雜冷a press release that it had si那跳gned advance purchase agreemen商地ts with Sinopharm for its "BBIBP-Cor窗煙V" inactivated viru鄉雨s vaccine and with Sinova作機c for its inactivated virus vacci子答ne "CoronaVac".

The agreements, which come at小生 a time when the Delta variant of the v窗好irus is posing a rising ris業爸k, will begin to make 110 million dos都光es immediately avai答靜lable to participants of the COV女線AX Facility, the int近綠ernational vaccine supply微校 and distribution 暗姐facility co-led by 海有WHO, Gavi and other p大媽artners, read the press release.

According to the press rele少物ase, 60 million doses of Si師電nopharm vaccine will be made availab喝懂le from July th算請rough this Octob謝高er, and 50 million dose物門s of Sinovac vaccine will be made 玩家available from Jul城信y through September this year.
